I went to a gig in Seapoint,Galway in feb?1980. it was alright, the first band was from Tuam(The Saw Doctors I think) and they were great. The second band was from Dublin and the lead singer was dressed in white from head toe,I didnt think I stood out to much as he was a bigger fucking eidgeet than I ever was,and you guessed it ,it was Bono.He was very iritating.yeh i know now I was spotting bits of me in him but you know,I was only seventeen. On 27th of July I also saw them supporting the Police at Leixlip and i thought Ive seen them before, news travelled slowly in those days, alot of the time we had no tv so if youd died you might miss your own fune
