I was in college at Florida State University from 1980-1984. I attended a lot of concerts. For many years I have told people I saw U2 at the Leon County Civic Center while I was in college, but no one has ever believed me. I almost convinced myself that I didn't see them. Found this site, and confirmed they were the opening act for the J Geils Band in 1982. I could not remember who the main act was because this band named U2 was so incredible! I have in my mind that I heard them play Bloody Sunday and New Years Day, but I see those songs were released in 1983. The concert I attended was in October 1982. Is it possible that those songs were on the playlist that night? Anyone?
