this was my first ever show at MSG
and i can see why this is such a great venue
for concerts! there are no upper levels like
other places so it is even more intimate than most. the crowd was incredible last night,
2nd only to montreal #1!!
the show was pretty standard as far as
setlists go for the tour but it was an
AMAZING U2 PERFORMANCE.
they were right ON the whole night(there was
only one bad musical note all night-can you name it?:-)).
Elevation should be bottled up and taken
a sip from every single day of the year, there is no better opening song to a show-ever!(and i think Streets, Zoo Station, and Mofo were perfect openers as well)
Love it when they jam during Gone, Kite
is a tour-de-force for Bono, and as always,
Streets takes over the arena as 20,000
people in unison succumb to the emotion of the song. best live song ever!!
and finally The Fly- vincent price could
not have done a better job reincarnating
this song!!! when this song kicks-in after
bono's quiet intro....i lose my mind!!!!!!
gotta go, gotta go,
see you on friday.....
