This show was my fourth from this tour. Excluding Slane (which stands
alone
for me and cannot be compared) this MSG show was THE SHOW of this tour.
Nothing really spectacular or special happened - but, what the music
said,
how 'on' the band was, and how into the show the crowd was made it a
night
to remember. Even though the songs were written for a different time
and
place, it felt like they were written for NY. And the transitions
between
songs was spectacular...going from 'Bullet the Blue Sky' into 'What's
Going
On', stopping at the line that goes 'together we can be strong' and
going
right into 'New York'....I don't think I can adequately put it into
words.
Nights like last night are why I love this band.
