I agree with Pam's review when she thanks the band for changing her. I can't agree more. U2 is more than a band, they are part of our culture and their music and message touches the soul and opens our awareness to many issues that we might not be in tune with otherwise.
Thank you U2 for changing my life and elevating my spirit.
For all those people complaining about the set list, don't go to the concerts. You obviously know what to expect by reading this website. Next time I will take your tickets off your hands. I know plenty of people that would like to go that could not get tickets because of the demand.
I went to this concert with 5 of my best friends. Soren traveled from Germany and Markus traveled from Chile, they both traveled to our great city for all of the NYC area shows.
My brother Jason and his friends Rob and Chris traveled via Amtrak from Ohio for the 1st two shows at MSG. My friend Jeanne traveled from Philly. Needless to say we all had an unbelievable week.
I have been a fan of U2 since the early 80's and have been to 39 shows in my lifetime and of course I would like a more varied set list, but it isn't going to happen.
So embrace U2 for their talent and how much they give of themselves for their fans. This entire tour was designed for the fans. The Heart shaped The best seats being the cheapest so that the hard core fans would be right up front.
Hello! Quit complaining or don't go.
Thank you U2! The greatest rock band of all time!
