What a night.
This was a powerful and sensational show. Although the set list contained no real shocks, the sheer energy and emotion from the audience and the band were very much apparent.
Highlights were Kite(dedicated to his dying father), the fly, I will Follow, but the combination of Bad and Streets was totally amazing, the true high point of the show.
I enjoyed popmart, Zooropa, Lovetown and the Joshua Tree tour, but to see them live in an arena was a dream come true, and lived up to all my expectations.
Who said Bono was a tired old pop star, he must have done about 40 laps of the heart, and played the crowd better than I have ever seen before. Although I think his voice is begining to feel the effects of playing over 80 shows this year, powerful, but seemed to have a throat infection or something.
Thanks a lot U2, and If the rumours are right, see you next Summer.
