having travelled down to manchester on the day of the show with "our kid",we were not dissapointed.hadnt seen the band since murrayfield in 97 so we were eager to see how the bhoys would play with a "scaled" down production.we neednt have worried.the songs stood up for themselves.the manchester crowd were ready and we were in for a treat.elevation blew the roof off the place halfway through the song when the lights went off and then back on.from then on it got better and better until streets hit and no-one and i mean no-one wasnt leaping around like a 5 year old on christmas day.the sight of bono running around the heart as the band played the intro will live with me forever.bono was very emotional through tonights show with his father being ill and kite was dedicated to him.overall another fine performance see you all in earls court(4th night) to continue the party.
