I have been a life long U2 fan, but for one reason or another have never had the chance to see them live. Well I was certainly not disappointed at Cardiff. Starsailor were way too loud though, but still did themselves proud. The Killers are already a stadium band, even without trying. Needless to say I was well impressed. Now onto the main event..........U2 were Awesome from the off, really working the crowd well in what was a massive stadium, made all the better for closing the roof. The sound was surprisingly good and the set list blended old with new very well. You were gripped all the way through the set and felt a part of it, even in the rafters. Top night, top band and lets hope many more nights to come like that one!
