I'm still elevated!!!! Believe it or not, but it has been nearly a week since the second concert in Montreal and I am still effected by that completely magical 2 1/2 hours! Never before have I experienced a "high" inspired by such incredible energy.
I still remember how I froze when I heard the Edge's distinctive guitar in "Beautiful Day" and Larry's drums in "Sunday Bloody Sunday". I felt like the show went from 4th gear to overdrive at "I Will Follow". That evening, U2 suddenly became tangible to me. I was inspired by their professionalism, dedication and passion for their music.
Also from Halifax, this trip to Montreal was a graduation present to myself. It was the best gift I could have ever recieved!!!!
I know it's late, but I just had to say something.
Thanks guys for such an intense experience! :)
