WOW. I expected it to be good but it went past that. I had decent seats but it looked like every seat in the house was a decent one and nobody actually used them anyway.
Kelis came on and didnt get much attention as nobody knew her stuff which was a shame. Think stereophonics would have been better but never mind.
U2 came on about 9pm and went off at 11pm. As someone has already said the crowd were not into the first 4 songs but then got going when I will Follow and Sunday Bloody Sunday came on. Everybody went mental when Streets started.
I was a little dissapointed with the crowd as they didnt seem to be as bouncy as I thought they would be.
Bono was funny, talking about adam's arse for about 5 minutes.
Highlights of the night for me were Streets and With or without you although Stay was very good.
The arena was very small and very intimate and Bono commented on that a few times.
Overall an amazing show by the band but I feel the crowd were not as into it as I have seen before.
Nick
