U2 came out with the house lights still on, kicked into "Elevation", which played half-way thru before the house lights were turned off. Would any other band try such a bold move in the world of rock and roll? I think not.
Right from the start, U2 put on an incredible performance. Whether playing songs from the new record, or the older hits, each song sounded awesome. Bono was in top vocal command in each song, though he messed up some lyrics on a few, which he usually does, and with the crowd helping him out, it didn't really matter. The Edge just couldn't get any better than he was tonight. Many people, other the U2 fans, don't realize the magnitude of Edge's guitar work. Simply perfect. Adam and Larry, the core rhythm of the band. The best rhythm section in rock and roll, quite possibly.
All and all, U2 at their best, Which is second to none. Do not miss a chance to see the "Elevation Tour". You'll be glad you didn't. Thank you and God Bless.....
