Well, this was my 6th and final show of the tour (12th lifetime since the Joshua Tree tour, when I saw them for the first time at age 15.) Every show was phenomenal, Atlanta included. I would like to thank whoever came up with the idea for doing General Admission and having the heart stage, which were both just fantastic experiences.

I fell in love with U2 all over again this year. I was in the heart 6 for 6, and was lucky to meet the band for the first time (2 times, actually, in Chicago and B'more,) and am so impressed with their kindness and attention to fans. They don't HAVE to do that, you know?

Before I ramble too much longer, highlights of the show for me included:

1. a fantastic Peolpe Get Ready with Richard from the crowd....We talked to him after the show, I hope he will post his story soon, including the awesome words Bono had for him onstage that the rest of us couldn't hear!) His passion was wonderful and contagious.

2. streets , of course, and how the people behing me and my friend Nate (thanks Virgina and Skip) held our spots on the rail in front of Edge so we could go dance in the middle of the heart, and then let us right back in....We experienced none of the awful rail crush others speak of..

3. Getting a pic from Dallas and a hand shake from Edge, who made a special effort to reach me, I think, becasue he saw my small, simple thank you sign taped to the rail.

4. The reunion with my new friends Nate, Joanne, and Tammy; we all met in B'More and then stayed together for Philly and Atlanta. Also meeting all the other online folks in real life...

hope we don't have to wait another 5 years, here are some pictures in the meantime..
