This was first U2 concert. Though it was in some ways a rough night for the band, I was blown away. Edge had guitar problems during I Will Follow. And Bono lost his voice during Bad and through the microphone down and walked off stage. They didn't even play 40. But there were some brilliant moments. Streets, Unforgettable Fire, Exit with some Jim Morrison thrown in, and Pride. I remember being amazed at the sounds Edge could get and watching him work his footpedals. It was a great night. I would go on to see better performances by the band, but this would always be the first.
