Oh man! Oh man!! It's been 3 days since the show and I'm just now getting ready to put my thoughts into words... lol
What an incredible show. I've been to 6 others, first Vertigo show, and this was the loudest, most intense and most thrilling one to be at. I am so thankful that I was able to be there with my girlfriend (who is becoming a U2 fan now:-)
When we were standing in the GA line, it was immediately clear this would be different. Everyone was really friendly and seemed very excited. I remember waiting in Seattle for Elevation and people were different. The lucky guy behind us won the tickets at a guitar shop and had never been to a U2 concert. He and his wife ending up getting into the ellipse. I wonder what he thinks of U2 now?? Lucky man...
Drove up to St. Louis from Lexington, Ky. and was extremely impressed with the FANS!! The fans just kept getting louder throughout the entire set. My voice is still completely shot. But that's okay, every minute was worth it. Way to go U2!!! Way to go to everyone who was lucky enough to be in that arena Wed. night. LOUD mothers!!!!
