Last night U2 tore the house down in Germany. "The Electric Co." has proved itself to be my favorite old song of the tour. The Edge is truly the mastermind mechanic behind this enormous machine we call U2. The updated man and guitar have really taken this song to places we never could have imagined since it's debut over 25 years ago. Another stand-out tune this year is "Miracle Drug." When I first heard Atomic Bomb, I was skeptical about how this song would be portrayed live, but it has also proved itself to be a worthy masterpiece in the U2 canon. The symmetry amongst these four men in this
piece is unmatchable.
After a long train journey in a quick pitstop in the wonderful city of Berlin, I must stop writing. I've got to catch a plane to Manchester for what's hoping to be a fabulous week in the U.K.
