After the magnificent show in Nashville I was excited to see the band one last time on the 360 Tour. I wasn't expecting any big surprises, just another great show. And in typical U2 fashion, they delivered above and beyond anything I could have hoped for.
Interpol was great and it was nice to finally get to see them perform. They're a solid band and one that I've been a fan of for quite some time. Chicago is always a wonderful venue to see U2 because there's an energy and genuine love that comes out whenever the band is there. "Out of Control" was stellar and I was hoping to hear it sometime on the tour. And of course, the impromptu "One Tree Hill" just floored me. It was beautiful and a reminder that U2 can always surprise you.
The year-long wait was worth every second.
