Wow, what a show. I've seen them in concert 22 times before, but on July 5 heard them perform 3 songs on my "I'll probably never hear those songs but want to list". Scarlet was so soothing to hear live, with Bono's strong yet controlled vocals. Zooropa was also great, and of course One Tree Hill. Bono sort of half promised they would play a song dedicated to Greg Carroll after Moment of Surrender, but I wasn't so sure until Dallas brought out Edge's tuned guitar during the middle of Moment.
One of the other great, and unexpected moments of the show happened after Pride, when the song was over and while Edge was changing guitars and Bono was drinking water, out of nowhere the crowd started singing the oh oh oh oh oh again. It lasted only 20 to 30 seconds, but got Bono to stop, smile and go to the front of the stage, where he bowed and thanked the crowd.
