I am sure this was a great show but I missed most of the experience. You see, Soldier Field section 110 and all of the lower level sections have obstructed views in rows higher than row 12. I was in row 16 and the rows behind me weren't sold because of the overhang from the level above blocking everything. Also, the stadium left a large, blinding globe light on directly above me. What did I pay for all of this? Fan club presale, $250 per ticket. Unbelievable, been going to see this band since 1987 and this was a huge disappointment.
I really feel bad for anyone going to see this band with similar seats. There is no excuse for selling these seats with no sight lines of the video screen (thanks Willie). Also, one of the claw legs blocked our view of Bono and Edge when they were in their usual positions on the main stage. Just terribly poor attention to detail, I blame this on their concert team.
I am going to print up a picture of my face for people to wear as masks during "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For".....
