I was in college at this time and it was my first U2 show. I had missed the War Tour due to a job I had the summer of '83. Needless to say I was excited for this one. It was everything I expected and more. The only complaint was that the set was a little short. After seeing Springsteen on his '84 tour and his 30 song/3 1/2 hour set, U2's 1 1/2 hour set left me wanting more. Maybe that was their intent. It still remains to this day one of my favorite shows. I saw them on their 360' tour in Houston last October and they still had the mirror ball above the drum set. An ode to the old days perhaps?
