What a journey. From Unforgettable Fire in Philadelphia to a discoball lemon in Tempe. Said hello before the show to Edge and Bono, fence separating them from us. Sang Happy Birthday to Bono. Got a few pictures.
Some highlights musically:
Still Haven't Found; Last Night on Earth; Until the End of the World was a hundred times better than on Zoo TV; Daydream Believer was fun; Streets brought them home; Love Will Tear Us Apart; Hold Me Thrill Me; and most of One.
Some disappointments:
If God Will Send His Angels was awful and should not be done in a huge place; Discotheque suqued; Velvet Dress was lost on me and went nowhere; One was kind of empty at the end;
Still one of the best shows that one can go see.
