I first saw U2 in 1987 at the concert recorded at MSG in NYC for inclusion on "rattle and hum". tonight I took my husband, a Dubliner, for his first u2 concert. They haven't lost it. Bono said it best when he noted that even after all this time he doesn't know what makes "this", the connection with the audience. He commented on the mighty roar when they went into streets have no name. It was the greatest cheer i ever heard at a concert. Streets, vertigo, Gloria, I still haven't found, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Mysterious Ways and Pride were highlights for us. There were folks who were pre-teens and a couple of ladies who must have been in their 70's or 80's. Tband was tight, the crowd great, the venue terrific.
