This was my fourth U2 show and the first time I was lucky enough to grap floor tickets. My friend and I arrived around 6:30pm --- the guy who scanned my ticket said 'winner!' and told us we were going into the elipse! I was floored! (pun intended)
This is the only way to see a U2 show . I remember standing in the nosebleeds in Foxboro during their popmart tour, wondering how incredibly awesome it must be to be up close...and here I was, 8 years later! There wasn't a bad place to stand in the little circle...all around us were U2! The show was phenomenal. I really felt like we were an important part of the show, it was very intimate --- it was great to see how much the band was enjoying the show! You never really get to see their expressions or really get to hear most of what they say when your a mile away. Highlights were Lennon's 'Instant Kharma', Crumbs and Yahweh acoustic. The show was so good that I'm not sure I want to see U2 ever again --- what a high!
