I still can't stop thinking about the concert last night in Chicago. My first U2 concert ever. U2's concert was an amaizing experience.
My voice is very weak and my lungs hurt of so much singing and dancing last night.
In my opinion Bono sang most if not all of the songs with such a intensity and strength that I could identify with the feeling that the songs involved. Especially the songs such as Bad, 40, one, Sometimes you can't make it on your own, New year's eve, Pride, Sunday Bloody Sunday, City of Blinding Lights, Beautiful Day, Miracle Drug, Yahwe, Love and Peace, Elevetion
The transitions between songs were great, I was feeling out control everytime they will start another song.
I really like the fact that all the band members of the band showed their thankfullnes and appreciattion for all the fans sitting through the arena by using the strong flashlights pointing to different parts of the audince. It felt like if they really wanted to shake hands with everyone in the arena but since it will be very difficult to do they used the lights. At the end, Bono did the same thing. I felt like they were comunicating with every single person in the audience.
I also liked how the guys walked throughout the eclipse. Especially, Adam. It was very cool that all the guys walk aroung the stage from time to time.
It is true that the concert had some low moments but what is perfect in life?
I almost forgot to mentioned that the stage and lighting was great. U2's crew stage and lighting are really something especial. They put a great showed together.
Finally, I feel very fortunate to be aroung such great U2 fans. It is always great to hear from other people how U2 songs touched people's lives.
Well, I could still write forever but i don't want this review to get too long. I also need to study for Finals which I will try to do although I can't stop thinking about the U2 concert.
At the end of concert I could not stop thanking U2 for how great they made me feel, all their songs touched me in a very special way.
Thank you, U2
