The first of four shows here at the United Center included some filming for the next U2 DVD directed by Hamish Hamilton, a wonderful person whom I had the privilage of meeting along with my fiance, Shelly.
Bono's voice was back... something he lacked during the last tour (hitting the high notes). Adam was as lively as ever and smiling the whole night. A woman next to us had the Amnesty International banner to which she threw out at Bono as approached the back of the stage, and he drapped it around his neck.
Can't wait for the fall tour when the boys play Milwaukee!
