On the ride home, i mentioned to my girlfriend that there was something "off" at that concert...She had never been to a U2 show before and it seemed as if she was amazed (although it may have been just to humor me). This show did not have the same Bono, did not have the same Edge that im used to seeing everytime i've seen the guys. Adam and Larry carried the band on this night. Adam was really unreal. But after reading other people's reviews, i completely agree...it was an awesome show, but there was something missing, and i still haven't figured it out...mostly has to do with Bono i think. Im hopin it's the week off that has them rusty a bit. I also have finals this week and im going to see them on monday and tues (Bono's B-day!!) so it'll be an interesting week to say the least. I'm hopin i get that feeling again with the next few shows...
