The only negative part of the concert was that Bono's usual roaming was limited due to the video-taping of the concert or as a dry run for the taping of the concert. You could see him starting to venture out of the main stage, but then stopping himself before getting too far from the main stage.
Even though other reviews have mentioned that the set list was the standard first show set list, it really was great to experience firsthand (though I do hope the setlist for the remaining Chicago shows varies similar to what they did for the Chicago stop of the Elevation Tour. Most songs were very strong (Miracle Drug, An Cat Dubh/into the heart and Bullet were particularly strong). Loved the Zoo/Fly/Mysterious combo, even though something was slightly off on Zoo Station (not enough guitar??). Also loved Running to Stand Still (with harmonica). Love and Peace was very good but fell a little short of being great (had to do with the timing of Bono's singing).
The minor technical things aside, Adam Clayton seemed to be having alot of fun out there, and was an definitely an indication of the undeniable energy in the house that night. This was one of those memorable U2 shows that longtime fans strive to be a part of.
