Although this was my ninth U2 show, it was the first I had seen on the current tour, and it bore little resemblence to the show reviewed in the Tribune that morning. As much as I try to force myself, I just cannot get into Sunday Bloody Sunday, Pride, and Where the Streets Have No Name anymore - but the Atomic Bomb songs came off well.
The little Zooropa slot machine was really cool, and if I hadn't been keeping up with the setlists on this site, I would have been tricked into thinking that "Daddy's Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car" and "Lemon" were coming up next.
Did anyone else notice that Bono clearly had the mic at his side for the entire second verse of "Miracle Drug" yet the vocals came out right on cue? Say it ain't so, Bono! Overdub the DVD later.
Highlights - "City of Blinding Lights" "An Cat Dubh" "Miracle Drug" "Love and Peace or Else" "Zoo Station" "The Fly" "Yahweh" "Party Girl"
