Another great show from the world's greatest band. Comparing U2 now in the fall from back in the spring, they seemed more relaxed and more willing to mix things up a bit, making for more special moments that U2 is famous for. FIRST TIME was awesome on tuesday, and the crowd really got into it. FIRST TIME (long snippet)was brought back for the second time on Wednesday, and although the crowd was not as loud as the Tuesday show, FIRST TIME still worked while tucked into Bad. IN A LITTLE WHILE snippet was great, with Bono's voice sounding incredible (too bad the crowd didn't sing along with him). City of Blinding Lights opened the show, and hearing this song live again reveals how truely great this song is. U2 also turned the lights out before the show during Arcade Fire's Wake Up (very cool, brought the crowd to a frenzy), and was a perfect lead-in to City.
Love and Peace is just awesome, no other way to describe it, and even though I keep telling myself (beforehand) that I don't want to hear Sunday Bloody Sunday again, the undeniable energy of the L&P-SBS combo is one of the many highlights.
