First, I want to give props to the city of Philly. My friends and I came from Maryland for the show and this being our 1st time in Philly in quite some time, we had a blast! This was my 7th U2 show and I must say while the show was "good", it wasn't great. Not as exciting (or energized)as the Elevation shows-in my opinion. I thought the lighting was amazing and I thought Bono and the boys sounded great and I enjoyed the selections from Boy (Electric Co., An Cat Dubh, Into The Heart) and I thought "City of Blinding Lights" and "Sometimes You Can't Make it On Your Own" were amazing as was the encore (The Fly, All Because of You, etc...). My friends and I all thought the set kinda dropped off in the middle, ...it's hard to explain, but we weren't really feelin it. Still, a great show and a great road trip to see the best band in the world hands down. Hopefully the set list will change for the fall leg of the tour when I go to both shows in DC. Thanks again Philly, you were great hosts!
