The 101 Club was based at 101 St. John's Hill, Clapham, England, next to Clapham Junction station, and has long since closed but was a very famous venue in the 70's and 80's for up and coming bands (in particular from the punk and new wave scene). Polydor Records even released a series of five live albums of acts that had played the venue, such as '101 Club - Beyond the Groove' (1980).
