U2 has performed 1 times in Bridge House. Those performances included unique songs and an overall total of 15 songs.
Bridge House is located in London, England
From 1975 to 1982, the Bridge House, Canning Town, in the East End of London, was the place to be. It was unique in being the first pub in the world do have it's own record label. Heavy metal fans rubbed shoulders with punks, mods, skinheads and goths to watch Iron Maiden, the Tom Robinson Band, Secret Affair, Cockney Rejects and Wasted Youth. The 560-capacity pub is where Dire Straits, U2 and the Stray Cats played their first UK dates, where The Blues Band and Chas & Dave recorded live albums, and where Depeche Mode got signed. (Independent, 11 Jan 2008)
The Bridge House was the seminal rock venue in East London throughout the seventies and eighties and shut its doors to live music in 1982 and was bulldozed into the ground a couple of years ago. It was located at 23 Barking Road, Canning Town, London, England.
