FIRST TIME POSTING, BUT LAST NIGHT IN PHOENIX WAS MY 9TH U2 SHOW, AND THE 3RD FOR THE ELEVATION TOUR. AFTER SEEING THE VEGAS SHOW ON SUNDAY, I THOUGHT IT COULD NOT GET ANY BETTER! tO SAY THAT PHOENIX WAS A BETTER SHOW IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! AFTER TAKING A "SPILL" WHILE BULLFIGHTING, BONO WAS NOT HIS ORDINARY MOBILE SELF, BUT HE DID NOT LET THIS DAMPEN HIS SINGING ONE BIT. I HAD NOT HEARD "IN GOD'S COUNTRY" LIVE SINCE THE JOSHUA TREE TOUR, AND "OUT OF CONTROL" WAS A BIG SURPRISE AS WELL, ALTHOUGH MANY IN THE AUDIENCE SEEMED AS IF THEY HAD NEVER HEARD IT. BANDWAGONERS? BY ACCIDENT MY SISTER AND I EXITED AT THE END THROUGH A SIDE DOOR THAT LED INTO UNDERGROUND PARKING, AND WE WERE JUST IN TIME TO STAND NEXT TO THE MOTORCADE AS U2 LEFT FOR THE AIRPORT! GREAT TOUR, GREAT BAND!
