The outer tip of the heart has grown in popularity in terms of where fans want to be, understandably so. If you plan on claiming that spot, enjoy, but keep in mind that your experience of the show will probably differ from everyone else's. Sure, you may touch Bono's jacket. You may even touch his hand. But you can also count on some major discomfort for part of the durration.

I stood at the outer tip of the heart with only one row of (very cool) people in front of me. I decided that day to wear my MacPhisto outfit just for the hell of it. Anyway, as the show got going and Bono came to the tip of the heart, everyone behind me lunged toward him making it extremely uncomfortable for those of us at the very tip. Of course, I knew that would happen and I can understand the desire. People who once stood near my right now stood to my left and people who I didn't see at all prior to showtime now had themselves plastered to my side.

One girl who noticed my frustration kept appologizing for being squeezed in between me and my girlfriend. I knew she didn't mean to get squeezed and moved around uncontrollably. We all bought GA tickets. Such is the nature of the beast. But toward the end of the show, she offered me her place. I just wanted to thank her for doing that. I got closer to my girlfriend Nikki, who ended up being pushed to the very front right by the front platform on which Bono stands.

I also had a cool experience with Bono who noticed my MacPhisto outfit (make-up and all). I will say no more. Some things should just remain sacred.

But I wanted to thank the girl for giving me her spot. I wanted to thank her after the show but she disappeared.

But this doesn't always happen, I realize. A lot of people get greedy when they get that close to the stage. I noticed a lot of disregard for others' safety. I noticed a lot of people just getting carried away with the thought that Bono might drop the guitar and shake hands with people at the tip (He won't).

It's your call. The show remains a beautiful experience. Every review I've read about this particular show rings true, including the sound issues. Even on the floor I couldn't really understand Bono when he spoke. Hopefully, it will be better at the United Center. I will be attending all 4 shows (in my normal clothes this time). After seeing them 3 times in GA, I'm looking forward to having actual seats.
