Where do I start? Well, my husband and I flew over from Belgium for the day. My brother in law had tickets for us (thank you, thank you, thank you, I could kiss your feet).
We all went down to the venue and enjoyed some beers before going to our seats. Not long after it kicked off.
Suddenly there they were, finally. Vertigo started and there we went for an amazing show.
Out of control was great. It really made the place go crazy. Other hightlights for me were: city of blinding lights (sounds great live), all I want is you (one of my all time favorites), running to stand still, streets. The Africa bit was good, Bono got the message through.
The enchore started of with a Achtung baby trio. I liked zoostation, allways did, so I was pleased to hear it. The fly didn't sound strong enough, a pitty, compard to the version the played during the Elevation tour. Party girl was a treat. A Canadian, Matt, got pulled on stage and played the song with U2. Lucky you. And good he was.
The sound througout was great, so was the crowd. It felt like one big party (and it continued in Dublin city afterwards). But at the back there were a lot of empty seats and the field was only 3/4 full. Safty they say, but I think there was room for another 5 or 6 thousend more fans.
A great show, no regrets for coming over from Belgium. See you guys in Berlin.
