Arms Park is located in Cardiff, Wales
The Cardiff Arms Park site was the home of Wales National Stadium for many years until its demolition in 1997, following which the new Millenium Stadium was built opening in 1999. The old stadium was the host to many sports, but it most recognised with rugby union. The National Stadium also hosted many music concerts from 1987 to 1996 including David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Dire Straits, Michael Jackson and U2. The last music concert was held on 14 July 1996 by R.E.M.
