All I can say is unbelievable about last night's show at The First Union Center. The band hasn't sounded that tight since ZooTV Outside Broadcast in 1992. Bad sounded perfect again (and the inclusion of a few lines of "40" at the end helped send chills through me). Stay was fantastic and Gone completely rocked (both were excellent choices from their respective albums). The first four songs together, Elevation/Beautiful Day/Until The End Of The World/Mysterious Ways, went so well together that everyone there had their money's worth by the end of the 4th song. All of the new material sounded great as well as the older material such as I Will Follow, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Where The Streets Have No Name, Pride & Bullet The Blue Sky. It's amazing how well those songs have held up over the years. They still sound great live. My highlight of the night was The Fly. It completely blew me away. It was great to have a little ZooTV back. What an all around fantastic show. I can't wait until the fall. Hopefully, Philly makes the schedule.
