Last night was my 30th U2 show, and what a way to spend it. When I got there, I had hopes of finally hearing the live debut of "Crumbs From Your Table," the most important, intelligent, and soulful U2 song written in the past ten years. Of course, they soundchecked it (according to rumour), but failed to follow-through on my wish. I imagine Larry didn; tfeel like playing it or something, he's always the "cautious one". He's also extremely hot for a 40-something year old (I'm gay, and he's always been my favorite member --- simply because he's so darn cute).
Anyway, they did bust out a rarity for the encore ("Wild Horses"), so that was nice. But I would have preferred "Crumbs," or maybe even an acoustic "Miami." All-in-all, U2 delivered and gave one of the most rockin' Vertigo performances of the 1st leg.
See you in the Fall --- at the (BankNorth) GARDEN!
