It's the morning after the concert and i'm still overwhelmed by how amazing it was. My ears are still buzzing and have a sore throat, but it was all worth it! This was the first U2 show i've ever been to, as I am probably too young to have gone to any of the others, and WOW! It was a night to remember, and would have to say that the performance of City Of Blinding Lights was probably my favourite. I also loved With or Without You and Elevation, where the crowd went mad! The set was also breathtaking, which is more than can be said for the support acts. However, U2 more than made up for this and Bono's talk of hope for the future gives us fans hope of the band continuing.
I have to admit, I was quite jealous when during With or Without You, Bono lifted a girl from the audience and hugged and kissed her while singing.
I loved the idea of doing Vertigo at the beginning and end and it left the fans wanting more.
Overall, it was an amazing show! At times, it was hard to hear Bono over the noise of the crowd, but thats just us Scots for you! I envy anyone who has still to attend a show, it's a night to remember....and more!
