Glasgow Hampden Park
This show was a massive let-down, the sound was nothing short of pathetic, bono was almost inaudible and the echo and reverb was way way over the top. It cost me and my partner over £100 for tickets and we were well positioned for the show, right in the centre or in other words, right were the sound should have been best. For me the sound was poorer than a local band at your local pub. I am a veteren gig goer (5 glastos and counting umpteen t in the parks and i have seen just about everyone i would like to see 3 times over !) U2s zoo tv show in glasgow is in my top three gigs ever so i am not anti U2, i am a huge fan, but this vertigo show at hampden rates in my worst three. Marks out of 10 ? 3. p.s do not blame hampden i seen the stones there and the sound was perfect.
