Wow what an amazing show. Thought with it being the longest day it might take somethnig away from the show with it being daylight for most of it but how wrong could I be.
Was at the show with my girlfriend and her 12 year old daughter (a recent U2 convert) who as far as I could see was probably the youngest person there. At least on the pitch anyway. Big thanks to everyone who helped look after her and lift her up now and again.
Anyway from Vertigo thru to City Of Blinding Lights to Zoo Station and back again to Vertigo it was an awesome spectacle. Sound was a bit dodgy where I was though it seemed better at the back and front apparently.
Think I'll blame the dodgy acoustics of Hampden which is a dive!! Better with Celtic Park or Ibrox! Highlights were Zoo Station, Elevation & Vertigo though every tune was bouncing.
4th U2 show and it will definitely not be the last!!
