High Points - Venue - Good place for a big gig.
Stage & Lights - Quite impressive. That's it....

Low Points - Sound quality was abosutely dreadul, after waiting such a long time to see U2 the sound quality on the pitch was terrible. This made the night a non-event from the start. extremely dissapointing. I moved back a bit towards the seats & the sound improved slightly but the damage had been done & scunnerment had set it. Surely the sound engineers should have taken checks to ensure all areas to the stadium received the same quality sound.

The crowd - The crowd around me were dead due to the sound quality. I have been to a few gigs in my time & we Scots like to talk ourselves up as the best audiences especially in Glasgow but this was lost the other night. The crowd & the atmosphere was non-existant. There was some drunk people singing but they would have been singing if this was a wet wednesday league cup semi-final between Bouverie puddlejumpers & Kelburn unemployed 11's. I'm afraid i have been left with a bitter taste in my mouth by this experience.

The cost - After all Bono's shouting a bawling about poverty, what about sending some £££'s my way mr Hewson after the price i was charged for two tickets for me & my girlfriend.

Bye Bye....Next gig...Monday night Kings Of Leon in the Academy....I know all of the above will be ammended then.
