Drove 3 hours from Long Island to see this show. My 4th one. Had GA, but no ellipse :( That's ok, I was in the Ellipse for the 11/22 MSG show. Although the Civic Center is small, intimate, not a bad seat in the house, the sound is not so great. There were many moments of reverb & speaker feed back. Set list was ok, Gloria was a great surprise! I love John Lennon, tribute was nice, but I rather hear U2 play their own songs. Disappointments: No Miracle Drug,Bad,All Because of You,Crumbs, or Walk On. Songs I could've done w/o:Yaweh,Miss Sarajevo,Original of the Species. A real good show, but not great. They definitely looked tired & weary. Less movement around the Ellipse than the 11/22 MSG show. Songs I'm dying to hear one day:Unforgettable Fire,A Sort of Homecoming,Twilight,Surrender,Two Hearts Beast as One.And can U2 please retire Bullet the Blue Sky for at least 1 tour, don't hate the song, but don't love it either.
