What a show! I don't think words can describe how good it felt to be at a U2 concert after all of the recent events. I'll try to make this short and sweet.
1) Great crowd. I've seen them three times this tour alone and this was the most excited and vibrant crowd yet. Whenever Bono asked for something, we gave it to him.
2) Great sound. Again, for some reason they got it right this time. I think the arena shape had a lot to do with it.
3) Great setlist. I liked the curve balls they threw but I would have liked a little Bullet and Fly. I'll have to disagree with another poster on this site, I thought Elevation worked great where it was in the setlist.
4) Incredible song endings. You could tell that they put the extra effort in. Every song was played harder and longer that I ever remembered it. The end of WOWOY was very uncommon lately. That was an emotional moment.
My last U2 show for awhile will be remembered as the best. As a side note, I've been to six U2 shows and heard countless bootlegs, but I've never seen or heard Larry Mullen drum like he did last night. Awesome.
