Forget about Zooropa in Cologne, forget about Popmart in Cologne - This show rocked !
Despite some voice problems Bono and the guys definitely had fun playing to a fantastic audience on thursday evening. They had no big surprises regarding the setlist, except the little "jam session" at the tip of the heart with Desire, Hawkmoon and Running to stand still. That was way cool !
Also Bono showed his energy by racing around the heart many times at full speed. At the end of The Fly he raced and splashed against the right video wall like a fly against a window...cool image :-)
Allthough I missed songs like Sweetest thing ( should be played on every show ) Pride and All I want is you, I was truly elevated this night. In my opinion they got the job as best band of the world. Lets see what they bring out tonight.
