This is the second show I have been to. The first would be in May during the 1st leg in Chicago. I must say that the United Center is a lot bigger than Kemper. I was excited though to be in Kemper because since it is so small, I figured the atmosphere was going to wild. I was shocked to see a big curtain like screen behind the stage and the seeats behind the stage blocked off. No one was able to sit behind the stage this time and I'm not sure if that is becasue Kemper did not sell-out or if it was u2's choice so everyone could see the names of the victims during the song, "One."
The crowd, though smaller than I am used to seeing was so into it. Everyone around me singing every song. I got a wiff of some weed being snoked around me, that annoys me. Do we really need that crap to enjoy a concert?
I loved Bono's story during "I will Follow,". Something like trying to celebrate his U2's first record deal and not being able to buy alchohol becasue he's only 18. "But I can get drafted," Bono says.
Overall the concert was uplifiting and filled with spiritual references. Bono saying things like, "Take it to church and Unto the Ulmighty God." Love the show for the second time.
