I arrived in Brussels a few days ago and have the opportunity to see an old friend who was an exchange student who stayed with my family back in high school. We are brought together all because of U2. An awsome, unforgetful night. I saw them in Chicago and in New York on the first leg and it doesn't compare to this European leg. It's crap that we in America get the same old stage set-up as Elevation and shows with luke-warm reviews. It was well worth the trip to see an awsome show and a set-list that was a little different order and seemed to work better. The crowd was wonderful, and the stage set-up was awsome with the huge video wall and two side stages. Highlights were the Zoo encore, an acoustic "Running to Stand Still," and of course "Streets." Bono's voice sounded great. They need to play stadiums in N.America. If all of the European shows are going to be like this one, Americans definitely got screwed on the first leg.
