I went to this show with a firend of mine. I was lucky enough to score a pair of fan club floor tix off Ebay. Don't ask how much they cost!
While our tickets did not get picked to go into the circle we were able to snag an awesome view. Having the fan club tickets really pays off regardless if you get into the circle or not. Since they let all the member tix holders in first, my friend and I were like the 20 something people thru the door. This allowed us to snag a PRIMO spot on the right side of the stage up against the railing surrounding the catwalk! when the show opened with city of blinding lights and I saw the multi colored moving background of light I knew this was going to be a good show. It was my 1st time seeing them too.
The best part for me is when Bono stopped right in front of me on the catwalk and layed down on it. I was able to snag a few good pictures too.
Even though I wasn't fmailiar with a couple of the newer songs, we still had a great time and all the people next to us were very cool and even offerend to save our spot when we had to make bathroom runs. very friendly and energetic atmosphere, well worth it.
