I have been a fan for more than 20 years and know most songs by heart. I must admit that I was kind of disappointed by the concert given the bad sound. It was so loud it hurt. Maybe it's just me but the first three or four songs were just one big mush. No wonder that Bono had to scream and still you were not able to hear his singing. Even the Edge was off (and that means something !!) What was their sound crew thinking?? It started getting better in the second half, they tuned down a bit and the band also got better. I must say I really enjoyed Love and Peace. Better than the studio version. I was happy about the Zoo Station encore because Achtung Baby is one of the best but often undervalued albums. However, again the sound crew screwed up again and it was mush again. Great 2nd and 3rd encore. In conclusion, mixed feelings. I wonder what other people thought.
