A U2 concert is more like a divine experience rather than a rock show and last night (10/11) was no different. Although I'm sure some fans may feel the set list was erratic, I found it to be more organic and honest. They played from their heart and when they do so this band is at it's best. Bono, although his voice is no longer as smooth or stable as it used to be, can still manage to soar when it counts and there's a profound truth and vunerability now that makes him seem more approachable. Although when he sang the Pavoratti portion of "Miss Sarejevo" he for a brief moment appeared otherworldly by delivering with more passion and power than any rock singer of his or any generation. I simply cannot say enough about these guys who have trancended time to remain the most vital band in the world. Meanwhile, Keane was an inspired choice to open. This trio is going to be huge since they possess that same honesty and humanity as their mentors from Dublin.
