I do not know what show some of these "reviewers" were at to have said this show was not AWESOME.
I was at the 8, 10, 1and 11 shows in MSG, and this show, October 11, was far and above the best I have seen to date. Mind you, I was in the ellipse the night before and in a seat on the 11th and I still say this was their best performance.
NO, BONO WAS NOT LIP SYNCING.
The Edge sings a portion of Miracle drug.
NO, THE FANS WERE NOT BOOING.
At some points, after an energetic moment or great note, they yell "booooNoooo..."
The setlist was about as diverse as anyone could ask for, both old stuff and new, with Out of Control, Crumbs, Stuck in a Moment, Fast Cars.
Anyone who thought this show was even remotely a letdown should perhaps get tickets to Matchbox 20. The only thing that disappointed me about this show was the fact that I brought two dear friends to the show the night before and got them into the ellipse--I was disappointed that they could not have been there for THIS show. It will stand alone for a long time...
